    Serious advice needed:sigh:
I've been asked out to lunch tomorrow by my MD and head of HR. I would love to avoid but unfortunately I can't. I'm looking for a promotion so this is really a big deal. It's killing me but I'm going to have to order something. I know whatever I'll have will affect ketosis - I can deal with that though, I'll just hop straight back on the day after. Question is what can I order that will have limited damage on my weigh in on Saturday - salad/soup/chicken? I don't know where we're going yet but I'm sure these things will be available. Any advice would be humongously appreciated

If you really want to satay on LT why don't you develop a 'tummy upset' and say you couldn't possibly eat because you feel sick and just drink sparkling water. I don't know what to advise food wise maybe fish and salad. Be sure not to drink alcohol as this can be dangerous.

I hope it does not do too much damage maybe you will still lose as well. Hope it goes ok xx

Try to stick to high protein like plain chicken and green salad or veg (no tomatoes) that should keep you in Ketosis. Definitely no bread, potatoes, pasta, sauces or alcohol. I am sure that if you explain to them why you have such a dull meal they will not pressure you.

    Good luck

    Hi Silvermist,
Congrats on getting a lunch with the MD and I hope it leads to a promotion....now if you do not want to break LT u could say you are having blood tests done so you can only have water until after lunch...you could also say you were having an upset tummy, as was suggested already. If you feel you must eat I guess I would order chicken salad, no dressing and eat half of it....its not a great situation to be in but I understand that the networking is invaluable to your career....let us know how u get on with it.

I just thought...couldn't you tell him you are having an early dinner with a friend for her birthday and you are just going to get a coffee because you don't want to spoil your appetitie?? That might be an idea
