help needed please

    hello to everyone, im caroline.
    been taking orlisat for a week now,but i have been calorie counting for 7 weeks i think, im staying well in my daily calorie intake im allowed which is 1200. i normally eat roughly 1000 to 1100. lots fruit and veggies.
    im loosing weight but i feel very slow, i lost 10 pounds in 6 weeks but the last week nothing. anyone any ideas why?

    Maybe try eating your full 1200 calories. I don't really understand it so maybe someone else can explain it but something like when you eat too little your body can go into starvation mode and it makes it harder to lose weight. I'm sure someone else with more knowledge of it will explain better!

    That sounds like a very healthy loss, but I agree that you would probably have been looking for slightly bigger losses while on orlistat.

    Are you being prescribed it by the docs or is it alli you are on?

    I have no idea why you wouldnt have had a loss last week...but it could be a blip and losses will resume next week.

    10lbs in 6 weeks is a nice healthy loss :)
    Remember though, you're aiming to NET 1200 calories, not stick below 1200. It'll make all the difference, believe me ; )
