Help...so hungry!!!

Hi all - Im on day four now and I am soooooooo hungry!!!! I know all I can do is drink water etc... but when does the hunger stop???

Also I ma so worried that when I stop the shakes and re-intro food the weight will go back on really quick - everyone I talk to is SO against this diet (dont get me wrong, they wont put me off it) but I have been on low cal diets before and then re-intro more cals and weight does pile back!!?!?!

Just getting myself in a tiz cos Im so hungry i think and hoping it will all be worth it and the weight will stay off I guess!

Hi and welcome, Day 4 is a toughy I'm afraid, it can combine hungern tiredness, felling really cold and a few others BUT it does improve. Day 6 and 7 is usually a breakthrough and you'll start feeling alot better and less hungry plus you'll have your weight loss to feel good about and that'll keep you going.

As far as piling it all back on when you come off LT......Yes you will if you go back to your old eating habits that got you here in the first place.....it's the simple truth. so that's why you must refeed properly and then eat healthier.

You should defo get into ketosis by tomorrow and thats when the hunger will stop! just try to keep busy today! You prob will miss food throughout, but it wont be hunger if you know what i mean? its a good chance to sort out your food "issues" and realize why you eat...

As for afterwards, if you go back to your old eating habbits, then yes you WILL put the weight back on, you have to change the way to eat and treat LT as the head start. If you have the will power to do TFR then you can change to healthy eating/increased execise after TFR!

Good luck with it, and just drink water...! When i feel the need to eat, i have a black coffee with a tiny bit of vanilla shake mixed in (kinda like coffee mate) but just as a treat, dont do this all the time, just find it helps me when i cant stop thinking about food!!
