Help - started SF today

    Hello all,
    Well i started on the SF diet today for the first time.
    I had a shake for breakfast (yum, yum) and a choc peanut bar as my snack. For my lunch i attempted to drink the forest fruit smoothie but could only manage half the bottle as the smell was making me feel sick, so i thought i would try one of the meal bars, managed half of that and really didn't like the taste.
    What i am asking is do you have to have a SF product for lunch or can you have anything providing it doesn't exceed the 200 calorie mark? I noticed WW soup was only 50 cal's.
    My tea won't be a problem and neither will my other 2 snacks for the day. However i can see lunch being a big problem and putting me off sticking to the diet.

    I am not up to speed with how Slim Fast Works but I would think you could substitute WW soup for one of your snacks.

    I see here on the Slim Fast site they have a wonderful meal planner where you can pick and choose what you want to eat from their data base.

    I have just had a go on it and I would think for anyone doing Slim Fast it is a very useful tool.

    Also what I like is that when you choose something from their ideas of what to have as your main meal and you click on view recipe it shows you the ingredients, how to make it and lists the nutritional value.

    You can have a SF shake or soup for lunch if the smoothies and meal bars aren't to your liking. The advantage to having a SF product at meal times is that they provide a third of your daily essential vitamins and minerals which I doubt the WW soup has.

    However there are people who follow the basic SF plan without any SF products (ie, just consume the same number of calories) and still lose weight.

    If I were you I would try the SF products but if they aren't right for you then adapt the diet to suit you.

    Thanks all for the advice. I am going to try just having the shakes, its a bit difficult to have the soup at lunch as i have no where to warm it up at work. If i don't enjoy this then i might just have my main meal at lunch time and a shake for tea.
