help!

Going on date tonight to cinema then possibly a drink and food afterwards....don't want him thinking I can't control my eating habits so wondering if I should go for a salad or something very low carbohydrates? I feel I could manage and get back on diet, I'm at my Christmas night out next Saturday so that's one of two planned diet breaks 2nd Christmas day for meal should I eat tonight but be sensible?
 
I had the duck with the thin pancakes, cucumber, spring onion and plum sauce, picked out the fat bits and lost a lb since weighing in on the Saturday morning before eating it so fingers crossed its been ok and doesn't catch up with me in few days! Strict for next 5 days then night off for works Christmas party.
