Here goes....time to get my groove back!

Hey, you've done fabulously. I may have lost a few stones fairly quickly but look at you!! You've proved that you can lose weight, and most importantly keep losing it for almost a whole year. That's pretty darned amazing in my eyes!! So, give yourself a big pat on the back from me :D That's fantastic about the size 14. I'd give anything to be a 14 again. What a fabulous feeling that will be for you to slip into that size 14 outfit. Make sure you get plenty of photos taken and i'm sure your boy will be asking in no time who the 2011 lady is!! Great stuff.

I actually did take a photo of me in my work uniform at the start of my journey, then I took one when I had lost a stone and I got a colleague to take another the other day when I'd got my two stone award. It's amazing the difference in those photos already. I can't bear to look at the first one for very long but i'm glad I took it as when i'm finding things tough and struggling then I'll pull it out and have a look to remind myself that I never want to be back there.

Well, i'm off to make some more meals to keep me going for the next few days. Lunch today was eggs, sw chips and beans and boy was it good. Going to make cheesy pasta with the cracked black pepper low low cheese spread for dinner. I can't wait!!!

That's great you got those photos done. It gets easier to look at the before photo when you look like a different person.

Love egg chips and beans. I can't get the cracked pepper one but with the regular one it is yummy, I load it up with loads of veg still.

Mmmm...just had a very nommy dinner of pasta with half a tub of low low, the black pepper one, mushrooms, courgettes, onions and peppers topped with my other HEA of cheese. It was totally cheesetastic!!! :)

Well I've had a day in the kitchen today, cooking up a storm. I made minestrone soup, mushroom and lentil loaf and mushy pea curry. Now sitting watching I'm a celeb then off to bed as I'm up for work at the crack of dawn.

Food was all on plan today and I'm glad to say I didn't eat as much as I did yesterday (oink oink!!)

Breakfast: fat free yogurt with mixed berries, a banana and two benefit bars (HEB)

Lunch: eggs, beans as SW chips

Dinner: penne pasta with 1/2 tub of low low cheese (HEA) and grated cheddar cheese (HEA)

Snacks: 3 ryvita cracker bread (HEB), 30g choc Philly (4.5syns), topped with sliced banana, and a packet of whisps (4.5syns)

Total syns used; 9 :)

Oof, that mushroom and lentil loaf sounds interesting. what is it like and how is it made?

The recipe is on here somewhere in the recipe forum, I can vouch for it being lovely! Might even be making it for Xmas dinner :D

TootyFrooty - shoot me if im wrong here hun if you had 1/2 tub of low low as your HEA should you not then syn the grated cheddar? otherwise your having more than your allowance for your HEA

Food Optimisers can enjoy 60g as a Healthy Extra ‘a’ on all choices and a Healthy Extra ‘b’ on Green (that’s just under half a tub!) or 25g for 2½ Syns.

Looks like a green day to me - in which case cheese plus cheese is just fine :) The joy of green days!

Hey, no you would be right normally but because I do green days I used the other lot of cheese as my other A choice as I get two A choices. But thanks so much for wanting to keep me right :)

One day I'm gonna have 4 HEX's worth of cheese... with 15 syns worth of crackers hehe! ;)

Yeah, it was on here that I got the recipe. If I could figure out how to put pics on here I'd put one up to show you it but I have no idea how to!

Ooh missy, what a fab meal to have on Xmas day. Nom nom :)

hey texy, easy done, i'm a pest because i do all three plans depending on how i organize my week so I expect anyone who looks over my food diary would be confused (and amazed at what a pig I am!)

Ooh, so it is a proper meal thing? what does it taste like? and what is the texture like? I'm having meatloaf on Sunday. never thought i'd like it because I've only ever seen it made fun of on american sit coms.

Fran, sorry for not replying lastnight. I''ll upload a photo of the loaf tomorrow so you can see what its like.

Well, I've had a pretty rubbish day at work today. It was really busy and I was really stressed. Stayed on plan though having 8.5syns for a ripple and 4.5 for some crisps. I could've eaten a whole tin of biscuits I was that fed up.

Off to bed now. Will no doubt be woken at some ludicrous time in the morning so I'd better get some sleep.

Night all x

Thanks ladies. I'm now up with my crying 2 year old. I.really could cry just now :(

For Fran. Hope this works...the pic of the mushroom and lentil loaf I made :)

Yay, it worked :) Now I can start putting up pics of all the lovely meals I have :D

Well, despite a totally pants nights sleep thanks to little bear I am feeling positive about the day ahead. I am exhausted but I'm going to make the most of the day and get out on my own for a few hours this afternoon. My big bear is at his granny's having a sleepover so he won't be home until just before dinner tonight. Hubby is having a long lie just now so it's just me and little bear till he gets up. Perfect opportunity to catch up on here and gain some inspiration from all the lovely people on here who are doing so well :talk017:

I actually feel thinner today. My legs feel slimmer and my tummy is definitely going down :D I don't get weighed until wednesday so i'll see if i'm right and if I am actually getting smaller, but I can feel my body shape changing and that makes me smile....a lot!!! :D:D:D

So anyway, once the hubster is up for the day, he's going to the gym then when he comes back i'm getting out to the shops for a few hours, on my own!!!! Yes, that's right ON MY OWN!!!!! With no pesky children grabbing things, screaming and generally making my blood pressure rise. I can't actually wait. I very rarely get any time to myself so i'm going to make the most of this afternoon.

Anyway...enough rambling and onto todays food. We're going to have a roast dinner later so in an hour or so i'm going to bung a chicken in the slow cooker and i'll prepare the roasties so that by the time I come home from my lovely afternoon off my dinner will be just about ready!!! Nom nom.

Because I do green days, I'm going to use both my HEB choices on the chicken as 1 B choice of chicken is just a miserable amount and I hate feeling deprived so no other B choices for the rest of the day!! Eeeek, how will I cope without my cereal bars??? I'm sure i'll survive just one day without them. Lunch will be a baked potato with beans and cheese using my 2 HEA choices and brekkie will be my fat free yogurt and frozen berries. I've already had a banana and a pear this morning to keep me going until a more reasonable time to have my proper breakfast!!

Oh being up so early sounds grim. My boy started waking up really early/through the night and the only thing that worked was letting him scream it out. Sounds awful but he was shattered all the time and nothing else worked.

Have a lovely afternoon! You will feel human again for a while. Haha.

You could always make it an extra easy day. You could have the cereal bars as a b choice if you either only had one a choice or syned one a choice. Then you don't need to measure out your chicken either.
