Hi my names Heather and I'm from the north east of England.

It seems like I've spent most of my life since I was about 19 (I'm 48 now) trying to lose weight or struggling to keep it off. Time to knuckle down again - well after Friday anyway. I'm preparing myself mentally.

I'll be doing the Weightwatchers diet although not going to class - been there, done that, got the tee-shirt. I think most diets will work if you have the key ingredient of motivation and actually WANT it enough-ah but thats the difficult bit isnt it?
