hi everyone, nice to meet you all ;)

a little about me, i signed up to minimins after my first baby in 2008. firstly with slimming world, then cambridge diet. havent been here a long time though!!

with my first pregnancy, thanks to diabetes, i gained a whopping 6 stone:eek: started at 10 stone (already overweight:rolleyes:) was almost 16st before giving birth. lost 3st very quickly with fluid loss etc and got stuck at 13st so joined SW

i didnt try very hard with SW so wasnt very successful and i was just desperate as it was making my PND worst!! so I did CD and lost 2 stone then got bored and stuck at 11st 3lb which i was still at when i conceived this babe

now im 18+4 with baby DD no.2 due sept 14th!! currently weigh 11st12lb so gained 9lb already

my now ex OH left me in Jan a few weeks after i got my BFP:( so i am doing this all on my own this time with a 2yr old in tow!! im worried because of being on my own im going to be more susceptable to PND again so im thinking if i can get my weight in check now it will be one less thing to be unhappy about!!

def want to go back to slimming world, is it alright to join while your pregnant? or do you have to already be going before your pregnant, if that makes sense!!

i would like to pretty much stay the same or only gain a little bit more. is that realistic if i stay on the straight and narrow?

anyway, cant wait to get to know everyone! sorry just re-read my post and its all me me me lol

im off to make a ticker with the weight i want to get down to after baby. it might put me off phoning pizza hut later :D

Hi and welcome! I'm more of a lurker these days as don't get a lot of time on here, but wanted to say hi!
Don't be down about your weight while Pregnant! ((hugs)) it's hard enough as it is without looking at your ideal weight! lol SW is as you'll know allowed in pregnancy and might be worth a go if you want to curb further gains.
I know how it feels though and failed miserably myself at healthy eating! lol
I'm sorry to read about your OH leaving - a really rough time even without baby no.2 on the way. We have another member on here who went through a break up when carrying baby No.2 (Mrs Danny Dyer - hope she doesnt' mind my saying just think maybe you could natter together).

really hope you have a great pregnancy without diabetes this time ((hugs)).

    Good luck and congratulations!

Congratulations on baby no 2, sorry to hear about your OH leaving though :( i'venot tried myself but I see no reason why you can't join a SW group once pregnant.

Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well :)
