Hi, I'm new! Anyone fancy a little challenge?

Hi all,

I joined the site at the weekend and just plucked up the courage to write my first post... So HELLO OUT THERE!!!

I've been a chunky Monkey for 8 years now and I don't want it to get to 10 so I'm on the calorie counting!

I love the idea of these online challenges and had an idea for one.

Four week challenge: If enough people are up for it we could start week beginning Monday 26th July. If people are in they put in 7lbs to a joint pot, then from the total figure you subtract any weight loss or add any weight gain... hopefully by the end of four weeks we could be in the minus numbers.

For example Tom joins meaning the pot is 7lbs, Harry joins making the pot 14lb and Dick joins making the pot 21lbs. In the first week Tom loses 2lbs (21-2=19), Harry gains 1.5 (21+1.5=20.5) and Dick loses 4lbs (20.5-4=16.6).

I hope this makes sense.

So I'll go first

Just got back from a new exercise class... I got a sticker for my hard work (although I suspect it might really have been for being the biggest person in the room!)... stuck it to my forehead for the rest of the class... I don't think the new teacher quite knows what to make of me!!!

So pleased to have some replies and people on board, thanks for making me feel welcome guys... Wishing Monday wasn't so far away now, can't wait to start emptying that pot!!! Good luck everyone!!!
