Hi all, I have just started taking xenical today, i have had good success before with reducil but it didnt last :( sooo i am going to join SW and really get commited this time :)
however the doctor didnt really know what to advise re calories and fat intake, I have read through the new starters sticky and it makes a lot more sense but I am still confused over weather I should be counting fat or saturated fat content?? can anyone advise please
    thanks

    Hi and welcome

Its all fat that you need to count, not just saturated.

You shouldnt experience any side effects as long as you stick to the 5g per 100g rule, and no more than 15g total per meal.

    Good luck x

i manage the sw and xenical by mostly doing red days. The main thing when you are doing both is that you have to watch your syns and HEX, obviously HEX like cheese are more than 5g per 100g as is chocolate for your syns.

So yeah, it is possible but you just need to be careful how you spend your syns.
