I'm new to this forum thing. I'm 18 and 237lbs and want to reach my goal of 130lbs by the time i'm 20 which is in about 1 and a half years.

I'm not following any sort of diet like weight watchers or anything. I'm going by the saying eat less and exercise more. I'm cutting out foods that contain a lot of sugar like fizzy drinks (i'm addicted) and sweets and eating more healthy foods like apples and wholemeal.

Also i've got a gym membership so i hope to go to the gym regularly. I started on Monday so have been to the gym on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, today i'm not going.

Hope to get a lot of encouragement and support to help me stay motivated because that's a real big problem for me :D

Oh yeah i love fast food! There's about 20 fast food places ranging from fried chicken to Indian to Chinese to kebabs in my area so its really hard to avoid it especially when you've got money in your bag but I WILL avoid these places.

Hey appleaday!

That's fab that your going it alone, personally I can't do that!!! I need that weekly weigh in by someone else to keep me going!!! Looking at what your planning, on SW you can drink diet fizzy drinks, so instead of cutting them out all together have you thought about that???
And well done for going to the gym so much!!! That is fab!!!
