I thought it may be a good idea to have a resources thread and wondered if anyone could contribute to help us all along the way.

Here are a few of my own:-

If you can't imagine yourself slim, this could be just what you need - http://www.seeyourselfslimmer.co.uk/ - I want to get one done, but, don't have a full length fat photo (can't remember the last time I had a picture taken). I may get one done now and then have the last three stone shaved off!)


Hints

Drink the water at room temperature and set a timetable for how much you can drink, mine is 2 litres by 1pm, another 2 by 6pm and then anything I drink in the evening is a bonus (usually another litre or so).

Use the water flavourings, I am a convert after this week, it does help.

If you are feeling hungry, have a savoury drink, on LL you can have 10 a day and it does seem to hit the spot for some reason.

I've managed to post umpteen times on this forum without saying the 'P' word but I'm gonna say it ....
Psyllium Husks! :D

THE most natural, gentle and effective way to prevent constipation (a blight for many people on a VLCD). Can be taken in powder form added to shakes and soups or in capsule form for those who don't like the idea of taking them in that way.

They are calorie & carb free so don't affect your diet at all (except in a positive way!)

Oh yes, of course! I use one capsule in a soup every other day and it does keep me regular (I open the capsule and put the powder in that way), any more than that and I get the runs! (sorry if that is tmi!)

Well, I suppose there IS a link between 'bum' and 'psyllium husks' Issy ..... :rolleyes: Don't really want to dwell on it though!
