Holiday Food Help Please

Hiya all, hope you are enjoying this sunny weekend!

In 5 weeks time, I am off on a camping/driving holiday to/in/around germany for 5 days. I'm trying to collate a list of foods which would be a good idea to take with me. So far I have only got:

Alpen Light Bars
Long life skimmed milk

And this is where I get stuck!

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas?

Thanks xx

How about packets of pasta and sauce or savoury rice, tins of stewed steak (some have syns), baked beans (if you prefer branded). At the moment all the other things I can think of you will be able to buy there.

Have a great time and don't fret too much. I'm sure you'll find plenty there.

For me, part of the fun of holidays is to eat the local food. I am not suggesting that you don't take some things with you, but apples? They sell very nice apples in Germany. And I am sure they would sell skimmed milk too (after all, Quark was invented in Germany!).
Im fussy about apples and only like Gala ones lol. As for the pasta's etc, we are not taking a stove lol. We have an inverter that plugs into the car so we can take a travel kettle but thats it. This is SUPPOSED to be a budget traveling holiday but so far its costing us an arm and a leg lol x
I dont really wanna have lots of off plan days but will certianly have one as there is an awesome resturant we want to go back to. I can quite happily live on couscous, apples and alpen light bars for the rest of the week lol.
Some Smash might be handy, you could mix some cheese triangles into it and have it with cold meats or chicken from the supermarket and tomatoes or pickled beetroot.

Nojo on the YoYo
Weirdly, tinned tuna, lemon and coriander cous cous and chopped apple with salad leaves and cucumber tastes great!

I don't like fresh tomatoes and discovered this when trying to make an EE meal 1/3 superfree!
