hope someone can help ...... please ?

    hi there

    i am planning to restart tomorrow, and it has been a while since i last did WW. i am not going to go to meetings yet, and so hope someone will know - how exactly do they work out each persons daily points allowance? iwas going to stick by the number i used to have, but am now thinking i might do well to recalculate and get an accurate number to start with ...........

    thanks to everyone. despite being really motivated yesterday, i am ashamed to say i have had a bad day today. day 1 of the diet and i have already failed. i am at a loss. don't know what to do :-(

    it went wrong when i got back from work - was good all day, then got home and binged. it is my typical pattern - i seriously lack control.so, what i need to do is have something prepared to eat for when i get in so i dont hang around in the kitchen looking for food, as if that happens i just end up eating loads of junk. i think i need to organise myself better ...

    Maybe you could get a few pots of sugar free jelly to have one when you get in, just to take the edge off your hunger, and while you're eating you cook cook some veg or something :)

    You haven't failed until you've given up! (That's what I keep telling myself, anyway :D)

    Well done in realising your 'problem areas', and what you need to do to avoid them :D

    I started yesterday.... and i was famished by the tiem i made my dinner.... i poured myself water and drank whilst it cooked x

    Never mind, you can start again again :)

    If you know you eat more in the evenings than save yourself some points to have treats in the evenings - that way it doesn't become a guilty thing but rather something that you enjoy because you know it's allowed.

    There's a few of us on here who are evening snackers and we've lost weight by learning to build it into our points allowance.

    I'm an all-day snacker, half the time my snacks take up more points than my meals!

    That's what's so brilliant about WW - it doesn't matter what your eating habits are, as long as you keep within your points :)
