Hi All,
Thought I'd start my own little diary just to keep me on track with things ect ect
So the reason for wanting to lose weight.....is.......purely SHALLOW, I'm sorry, I know thats not a nice reason but I am so sick of being the "fat" sister/friend. I used to be slim, now I have trucker arms and my belly looks like I'm 4 months pregnant
I'm deeply unhappy with my weight!
So last Friday I went to a kids party and my friend took pics of me with my kiddies and only uploaded them to Facebook!!! I look hideous, it was a wake up call, I was mortified.....I then made the decision to lose weight and that night popped to Sainsburys and got 2 tubs of Slimfast.
Its been an eye opener, the first day, I stupidly decided to eat 1200 cals, I was freaking starving like baaaaaaaad, I then did the how many calories should I eat calculator again and to lose 1lb a week I should wat around 1480 calories, I have made the decision to eat what slim fast advises and thats 1360, this I am happy with and can cope with, I have also religously cut out fizzy drinks (Bar say 1 250ml glass of Pepsi Max - I was on about 3/4 bottle full fat coke a day....) and have been drinking 1.5-2 ltrs of water a day.... I think this has helped me fight the sugar craving from all the coke I used to drink, on a weird note I have had like 3 spots appear on my face??!! Go figure, I'm now overweight and spotty hahaha!
With Slimfast, I have found that I prefere to have 1 shake a day and I have this as my breakfast as I hate to eat in the morning!!! I have forgone the afternoon shake and changed that to a low low fat subsitute.....usually salad and my recently newly discovered food for me COTTAGE CHEESE!!!
I never new cottage cheese was that fab, I had a stuffed mushroom with it today and it was like hardly any fat, loads of protein and 40 cals, GET IN THERE COTTAGE CHEESE nom nom nom!
I'm feeling positive and its nearly been a week, I know that doesnt sound a lot but it is for me! woooo!
P.S: I have ordered the "shred" should arrive by Friday, gonna start it on Sat eeeeek!
I'm looking to lose around 8lbs a month so come december I will be nearly two stone lighter!!
