Hot chocolate

Mixed my choc shake with hot water today for the first time as I'd seen a lot of people do this to make a hot chocolate drink. I couldn't drink it all because it was so sweet. Why is it so much sweeter when hot, anyone any idea?

I've never had the chocolate one cold, to be honest, so can't comment. However, I love it hot, and find it sweet enough without adding any sweetener .... it's a toss up between the chocolate and the vanilla with coffee, as to which is my favourite!

I don't really like the chocolate it's my least favourite shake, I add a spoonful of coffee and crused ice in fact I add a spoonful of coffee to the vanilla and banana too it's more like a frappe very tasty. Don't know if i could drink it hot!
