I am personally doing well with the diet, in so much as I’ve not had anything to eat and have had little urge to eat. However, I am feeling absolutely awful physically which I am starting to attribute to the diet. I am experiencing dizziness during the day to the point of almost fainting several times a day.
I can now not walk from the office, up the stairs and to the reception without having to stop. I walked to Boots yesterday to pick up a prescription and actually had to stop. I’ve also had to stop on my (very short) cycle to work. I’ve read on here that apparently this is probably low blood pressure which is a relatively common side effect of the diet.
I feel like I have no energy which is negatively impacting on my life. I want to lose weight but I also want to be able to continue cycling to work, walking to places and being active like I want to be. I am now feeling like driving to places rather than walking which seems like a step backwards in improving my life. I work in the courts and have to stand and sit several times an hour; today I was mortified to almost faint in open court.
I’ve had to give up running training in the evenings since damaging my back (gave up for a week) but I should be back running this evening.
I really don’t want to do myself any harm by living my life the way I want to i.e. being active and using the Cambridge Diet at the same time.
I certainly don’t want to give up the diet (although I seem to have reached a three day plateau) I just wanted to see who else was out there feeling like this and ask you how you cope... :wave_cry:
