Thanks to those who were asking how i'm doing after my giant dark rant the other night :)

I am doing SO much better and pulled myself out of the hole. I did this by coming on here and getting inspiration from older threads from people who I think are brilliant on here. It was great to see how familiar names and faces had got through all their different stages. That really helped to relate to others experiences.

I also decided to break up the weightloss a bit. I couldn't get my head around my weight loss stalling untill I started to look at the last part of the losses as one bit of my journey. Now i have another 9.5lbs to go, I'm looking at this as another stage regardless of what plan I'm doing. A fresh start if you like.

I also looked at my inch loss progress which I never bothered doing a lot. To see 31.5 inches gone over 2 months was motivating. Together with me trying on more of my way too small wardrobe, all of which fits now, may not look perfect but fitting, and my way too big wardrobe- all the jeans etc (i'd lived in uncomfortably for 3 years) that were so tight on me, muffin tops, the lot - now swimming on me :)

I've also given myself some time and told myself to be patient.

It was a great feeling this morning when my oh and I agreed that my clothes aren't very flattering on me now as they're all too big. Chuffed. I'll be going to London in a couple of weeks with my sis for a shopping spree and I can't wait to buy clothes that flatter my new shape. Not too many tho untill i reach goal.

Maybe this might help someone else who's in a dark place right now. We are just human after-all xxx

So glad you are feeling better, you sound really positive! This diet really does mix up your emotions and gives great highs and lows.

You are so close to your goal you must almost be able to feel it! Shopping for new (and smaller) clothes is a great feeling, you will have a great shopping spree in London and look amazing. And wow 31.5 inches in 2 months is awesome!

Thanks Wales hun,

I am certainly in a better place now (still waiting for my totm to arrive :) ).

I'm sure there will be more dark and testing times to come but I suppose with each one if we evaluate we can learn from it and progress.

Hope you're keeping well xxx hugs

Sunshine...

I am so pleased that you have found your way back to that Positive Frame of mind!

Sometimes it needs us to have a mini melt down to be able to gain our Focus and determination again.

GOOD ON YOU!! Keep up the good work and you will be at goal soon enough.. (and then you can really spend some money) xx
