Step 1 Sole Source How long have you stayed on step 1?

Hello

After one week on step 1 I will go under BMI 28. I want to carry on with step 1 because I will still have another two stone to lose to get to BMI 21. But my consultant said that this is not advised and that I should go up to step 2 if I go under BMI 28.

Can you let me know if you have carried on with step 1 until you got to a healthy BMI. did it work? Was it more draining because you had less to lose?

Tbh as you get to a healthy weight the body will try hanging onto fat stores and start to use muscle the plans been scientifically looked into so do as advised as eventually we'll need to up the steps and tbh BMI 28 is low
My cdc said I may not need to go lower than BMI 28 I'm BMI 32 atm
They are trying to stop health indications on BMI as its very updated and go by waist measurements xx
