how long to work out?

how long would you classify a work out to be? I do 20 mins cardio burning around 250/300 calories and 20 mins weights. would you classify this as 2 day of fitness?
 
Depends.

If you could only handle 10mins walking 2 months ago and you have now improved to 20mins cardio AND 20 mins weights, keep going and don't let anyone get in you way.

Since there is no mention of just what you can and can't do, it's hard to give an answer that is relevant to you.

And unless you have been advised by a medical professional to keep your heart rate low in the "fat burn" zone,or you have any blood pressure or heart condition, or you are on beta blockers or if you carried a lot of weight... ANYONE worth their salt in the fitness insustry should be able to explain to you why the "fat burn" zone is an economically driven idea.
