how much can I lose?

How much do you guys think I can realistically lose by 24th of September with only one social occasion during that time? I will have one week where I am immobile due to a minor op and will not have any exercise that week. I lost 3 lbs last week weigh in on wed but what can I expect if i stay on plan completely?

Weight watchers suggest a maximum loss per week of 2lbs, however as you have a little bit more weight to lose you'll probably lose more than that to begin with! :)

ww say up to 2lb is healthy.... but realistically no one gets 2lb a week every week... within normal circumstances, the human body isn't designed to lose lots of weight over a long period of time.. So 1lb a week would be a good target for someone already dieting, and maybe 1.5 a week for someone new to the plan.

You could go the first week and lose 6lb, but you could also go and lose 1. I reckon its better to set a rough target of... 14-18lbs and see how you go... You can always up the target if you get there sooner :)
