How will it work

    I know this is my third time on CD but still not all that sure how it will actually work.

    I started at 14st 3/4lb. I lost 5 1/5lb yesterday at a 5day weigh in so I am now 13st 8 1/4lb. I have to get down to 9st 10lb to get in to the healthy weight range. Ideally I want to weight 8st 7lb at the end of all this.

    Soooo.... this is my understanding and was hoping someone could either confirm or give me the correct information. I will stay on SS for 12wks and then I have to go up to 810 for a week and then I can go back on SS until I reach a healthy weight and bmi of 25 which would be 9st 10lb for me. That's when I get lost, do I then start working up the plans while still hopefully losing weight to get to my overall goal or can I go back on SS once I am at bmi 25 to get down to the weight I want?

    Good question - I have no idea.
    My friend has just got her bmi down to below 25 and cdc is letting her do one more week of ss then she moves onto 810 then up the plans.

    You can do any plan you wish (assuming all medical stuff is sorted), but if you chose to SS or SS+, you can only do that for 12 weeks at a time (as you say) :)

    When you get to BMI25, you have to be on 810 minimum. You can stay on 810 to goal as long as it's more than BMI20, but most people start moving up the plans before then :)

    Great thanks KD. Got all the medical stuff sorted and signed off and i'm on day 6 off SS. Had a 5 day weigh in yesterday and have lost 5 1/2lb so far, and that's totm too so yay! My cdc is going away on holiday so had to buy 3wks worth of cd and wont get weighed in again until 11th June. So far I have totally managed to abstain from weighing myself as I became very obsessed with numbers the last time so i'm hoping to make it the full three weeks withought weighing myself and hopefully will get a nice surprise when she gets back.

    Can you tell me aswell, I have bought the water flavourings, bars and mousse. I know i'm not allowed any of these until week three but am I only allowed one of either of these per day or can I have all three iykwim?

    You can have the bars and the water flavourings in the same day

    Or

    The bars and the mousse in the same day

    But not the mousse and the flavourings in the same day.

    Bars: max 1 a day
    Mousse: Max 1 scoop a day
    Flavourings (sweet or savoury): max 1 teaspoon a day

    Sounds like you're going well. Just keep on trucking and the weight will take care of itself.

    Measure your success by how well you keep to it, rather than how many pounds you'll lose as you have more control on that.

    Enjoy getting into the smaller sizes :)

    Hi KD

    Would you kindly answer me a question please... If we're not allowed the MAM and flavourings in the same day, are we not allowed to make a jelly as I had seen instructions on the forum for making up the jellies.. (and I've already done this too oops!! ) I use a scoop of Mix a Mousse with about half a teaspoon of flavouring made up to one pint, this gives me 3 small jellies..
