    Hi all,
I'm supposed to be proudly telling you all my 2nd week weight loss but instead I managed to put 2lb on! :(

I started my restart with my partner and although the first week went well it didn't last long!
The temptation to eat proved too much and we gave in!

My partner has pretty much decided that its all too much for him and hes staying as he is, perhaps just cutting back a bit!

But i'm not done yet, I know that this works, I know that I need to do this, I had such a brill first week and felt so good for sticking to it 100% but I need a good kick up the back side to get started again!

I have a party to go to on the 28th and I need an outfit, i'm totally dreading it as I hate clothes at this size, so I was hoping to lose as much as I can by then but I feel like i've lost the plot now and I cant do any thing about it now!

    Please please help! :(

    Emma You CAN do this!

We have all sabotaged our diets at one point or other - the trick is coming on here .... telling others about it, getting support and going back and starting again!

If at first you don't succeed, try and try and try again.

I think the problem here is entirely your partners obvious complete lack of commitment.

The time isn't right for him but it is right for you and so you need to try to get him to support you doing it if you can and get the rest of your motivation from yourself, your CDC and all of us!

The great thing about doing this with a partner is to motivate each other but it can also be a real negative motivator too when one has a slip. I have been doing this with my hubby and we have been successful but we have had to stop ourselves thinking we will cheat when the other does and try to remotivate each other. It's a shame your partner isn't interested but I don't think you will change him.

So restart remembering your motivation on your first week and you will be fine.

Feel like I'm rambling but hope I have made some sense!

I'm off to a "Posh Do" with my other half on the 28th October as well - so let's keep each other motivated. I've got a cocktail dress to get into that I've hired for the evening.

I've got my second weigh-in tonight - lost 7lb last week and really want to do a stone by 28th so hoping for a good loss tonight so I'm nearly there....

Come on you can do it... imagine how great you'll feel ½ stone lighter. What sort of outfit you looking for? Find a picture of something you'd really like to wear and stick it on the fridge door...organise to get your hair done for the do or a manicure anything to keep you focused just on the night. Set the 28th as a short-term goal for the diet - next weeks weightloss will spur you on for another week and then another etc..

GOOD LUCK GIRLIE - POSH FROCKS ALL ROUND....

Thank you all for your replies,
Your all right -0f course! :)

Mrs Roch- I have seen an outfit i'd like but just would hate to have to buy it in a size 24! :( Nothing as posh as a cocktail dress though! Your right i can easily lose half a stone by then which may make a difference size wise, I spose!

Dizzy- yes the partner thing doing this together didnt last long with us im afraid!
He couldnt do without food and to be honest if he gave up the lager he should lose his weight anyway!:)

Illdoit- thanks so much that really helps!
To see the, what may or can happen against the,
what will most likely happen - side by side is a bit of an eye opener actually!

    Thank you all!

    Hi Mrs Roch
Im fine thanks, the replies to my post have really helped, made me realise that I can just pick myself up again and restart.

I havn't actually started on the foodpacks yet as i picked all day yesterday and ate breakfast this morning- but all is not lost as I intend to officially 'start' on Sun, this is mainly due to the fact its my daughters party on Sat and although i dont intend on eating loads, i just know if i'm on cd and i do eat then i would have cheated again and i dont think i can cope with the guilt! :(

So all is fine as i have a plan, and i will be on ss completely by Mon! :)

    How are you getting on?
Do you have the cocktail dress already or are you waiting until next week?

Fantastic, I'm so pleased you've made a plan - you'll be ready for action on Sunday I'm sure.. :) Focus on enjoying your weekend now and your daughter's birthday.

Am actually hiring the dress as I seem to be going to quite a lot of these formal army functions with my new(ish) partner and it would start costing me a fortune - can't wear the same dress more than once, you know what us girlies are like :D :D

I went round a few dress hire places 3 weeks ago as I was worried about getting something (had visions of everything being in small sizes) but thankfully have found a beautiful dress (size 18) which I actually can't wait to wear :) . It fitted lovely when I tried it on but still want to lose that stone before next Saturday because I thought it would give me that bit more confidence as it's strapless and very "green" and there's going to be a lot of people I haven't met before plus I want to do my new(ish) man proud...

Here's to good weighlosses for us both next week...

    Have a fab weekend..:) :)
