Usually I cut up the spears and cook it in a little water and oil, a pinch of salt and a little garlic, or even a little slither of fresh root ginger. Takes hardly any time and tastes good.
Bought a juicer and used it twice! I steam as it keeps the nutrients more and the water below can be used to make soup! Canny, huh? lol We grow our own, as much as possible, all organic but then you do have to eat as the day picked cos no preservatives!
