Total Solution I like to loose it loose it... :D

Thank you :)!!!

Yeah, I've read about that as well :/.. We shall see, I know myself well enough to know once I'm out, I'm not gonna be able to stay just on water :D.. I'll see how I feel about it throughout the week and decide later :).
How are you :)?
X

I am not sure how accurate it is!

I am good thankyou, had a planned day off at the weekend so getting back on it! Back n day 3 so getting back into ketosis, which is always fun!! x

Yeah, I've read your posts, well done on getting back on track so easily :)!! I also read you weigh yourself every day, one of my previous weaknesses, I'm trying to stay off scales for at least 4-5 days before I take a sneak peak :D..
X

Well done Tanwen - fab loss for your first week. Socialising is tricky - loads of questions if you don't drink all of a sudden and the temptations are huge. I have fallen off the rails several times during this stab at a VLCD. Last time I stuck it perfectly for 9 weeks without so much as milk in my tea. Complacency is the enemy. Don't relax your guard...:)

Yep, guilty as charged, I am a serial weigher!!! But my OCD won't have it any other way!!! Have a great day :) x

Hey :)!
How's everyone doing :)? I'm all good, resisted the urge to step on scales last few days, but I also feel quite bloated, totm is here and I don't feel I'm losing anything, but we'll see on Tuesday :D..
Also my hay fever has been playing up a lot so I haven't slept well last few days, thank God it's Friday, I'm sooo looking forward to a lazy weekend after working 55 hours this week :D..
What's everyone's plan for weekend :)?
Xxx

Hellooo,

Had a weigh-in this morning, another 4 lbs off B-)!! I'm absolutely chuffed :)!!
How are you :)?
X

That's fab, well done!
You are doing so well, how are you finding it?

I am good thankyou, managed to get 5lb off this week after a sts last week x

Well done Nat, you're such an inspiration :)!!! I love reading your diaries and comments, your positive energy is just amazing :)!
I'm finding it easier as it goes, in the end I cancelled the night out as didn't want to slip into junk food, I know I wouldn't be able to resist when I'm tipsy (I know myself too well :D).. I told myself it's well worth sacrificing those few nights out for a healthier body :)..
I'm working a lot and that helps to keep my mind occupied, plus I'm still fighting with old letting agent about deposit (their contracted maintenance guy cracked a mirror in the old flat, they're holding us responsible and are charging us £162- what the hell?!) so I was dealing with that yesterday, when I'm angry I'm not hungry, that helped, haha :D..
Also, I'm getting a kitten in a month, I'm super excited about that, another thing that's keeping my mind off hunger and food :D..
Xx

Thankyou! I never consider myself an inspiration .

It does get easier, I am generally ok, have the odd hungry day but generally it sails by.
Sounds like you have every right to be angry, I hate being accused of things that are not my fault!
I would be excited about a kitten too, we have recently rehomed a Bengal cat, he is a sweetie. x

wow sacrifce with your night out is really first class, well done. That's pretty awesome, great will power and dedication. I'll think about that next time I'm tempted to eat something I shouldn't!

Hey everyone :)!

Thank you very much for the supporting words, it's keeping me going :)!!

I've had a bit of a rough morning, it's TOTM and I woke up in quite a lot of pain (that's unusual itself, as I'm usually only in pain for the first, maximum second day), got myself to bathroom and had a massive dizzy spell, cold sweats, laid myself on the floor as I was worried I'm gonna lose consciousness. When I felt slightly better, I went to the kitchen and got some paracetamols in me (which I thought are gonna go straight out), went to lay down in bed again, for a few minutes I thought I'm gonna have to call an ambulance, as it was getting out of hand - the pain, dizziness and cold sweats were awful, I felt myself loosing consciousness and then snapping back in..

After about half an hour I felt slightly better and had to go to work and even though it was a long day (12,5 hours, I don't know how I survived :D ), I took it easy and stayed in control. Every now and then I had a dizzy spell again, but nothing like the morning. I've never been prone to fainting, it scared the hell out of me :-O..

I know VLCD can cause nausea and stuff, but this was.. just unbelievable.. I didn't go through anything like that last year. My water intake is at least 3 liters every day (and I'm not counting coffee and tea into that), so I don't think it's that.. Has anyone had anything similar :-O?

xx

Hey Tanwen sorry to hear that, I have felt dizzy and light headed before when i did this before but only once or twice in about 3 months of being on it. This time around in the first week I felt like i was coming down with the flu and got a temperature, it felt like it does in the day or two before the flu hits big time, like some minor aching joints etc, but then it cleared up. Nothing like what you described though. I would go see a doctor and just get yourself checked over etc. It might just be a natural reaction of your body adjusting to low energy from food etc but i'd rather be safe than sorry, hope you have a better weekend!

Hi Tanwen, sorry to hear you're feeling so ill. I'll second what Gary suggests - get yourself to a Doctor!! And maybe consider some extra packs / adding in a bit extra healthy food while you're feeling so rough, to help your body recover?

Hope you get better soon x

I am so sorry you are feeling so rough, I can only echo Gary and Womble, you need to see a doctor.

How are you feeling today? x

Hey guys,

Thank you for your support, you kept me going :).. It was weird few days, I have to say - it was lack of magnesium :O! So I started taking tablets for it, I think it might be because my water intake is quite high..
I was slightly anxious about stepping on scales this morning, but I managed to get 3lbs off B-)!! Quite chuffed, as I added an extra healthy meal when I was feeling unwell :)..
Now I seem back to my normal self and battling on :)!!
How's everyone else doing :)?

Xx

That's great, really glad they sorted it for you!

3lb loss is fab, well done, especially as you were adding meals, you obviously made great choices then x

Yeah, I was trying to add low carb meals from the recipe book I have (life saver :D), I am really chuffed, I just realised it's the first stone gone :)!! Yaay :).. X
