    i went to hospital yesterday and they weighed me (routine) and all it said id lost was half a pound??
    I was soo upset n angry ive never stuck to something so much in all my life i used to order 3-4 times per week and the meals i cooked were very bad for me and now im eating all healthy and correct you would think it would fly of me i dont understand it..
    Yes its my * week but whats that supposed to mean surely i stil should of lost alot more
    I went out and bought some scales as surely the hpital ones cudent be correct only for it to tell me i weigh heavier seriously if that is the case i will not be continuing to weigh and count and everythn else needed...
    i dunno just having a moan i have did a search and read other ppls first weigh in going wrong but just didnt htink it would happen to me
    NOT GOOD FOR MY FIRST WEEK :(
    weigh in is tonite and i dont even want to go :(

    All scales say different things so you can only really go by your official WI.
    Go to WI tonight and find out the correct result. If it's not a good result stick at it till next week. There's no point in giving up because you'll only put more weight on and have to start again at some time.
    Let us know hoe it goes.

    Sweetie...all scales weigh different as you just found out comparing hospital ones to your new ones....Keep the faith and go along tonight because the plan works.

    The star week could affact your loss so try and accept that and give it one more week....I promise you it's worth it ((((HUG))))

    Awww.... nothing worse that being disheartened by what the scales say.

    Keep going as you are and please please please go tonight - you'll be weighed at the same time with the same scales so you'll know the result is accurate. If you have been doing everything by the book then i don't doubt for a second that you will have lost.

    Don't spoil a good first week just because of what those scales say. Remember that the hospital just needs a rough idea of what you weigh. So that isn't going to be accurate.

    Don't let it get you down. I lost a wee bit my 1st week, put on my second and lost 3 1/2 my third week! It takes a little bit of time to find your stride.

    Plus the hospital scales get used loads by loads for a long time. They might be waaaay out.

    Chin up and go find out for sure!

    Don't let it dishearten you.
    My first week at sw i had a docs appointment 3 days after starting and they told me i was 6lbs more then the sw scales...wi day came and i had a 7.5lb loss.
    All scales are different

    I have a bad habit of weighing myself everyday , this morning apparently I gained 1.5 lbs ..........now i know thats cant possibly be one llb of fat especially as i have been sticking to the plan , but its still depressing lol..............off course if I had lost 1.5 llb , that would have been fat lol

    I only lost half a lb on * week and the week after it, despite the fact that I completely followed the plan. Aside from that I have had decent losses.

    I felt so frustrated only seeing those half lbs come off, but the bigger losses on the other weeks more than made up for it :D

    I'm guilty of jumping on my scales most days. Mine tell me the same weight as the ones at SW cos I alsways weigh myself when I get home and they say the same thing!

    I had a 3 lb loss at the weekend but when I weighed myself weigh in morning I had STS as previous weigh in. So in my bookie I STS. Weight just goes up and down with no explanation. Frustrating!!

    Oh me too... I got weighed on Tuesday night (I'm a Wednesday weigher normally but I couldn't make the Wed class this week) and when I weighed myself the following day I'd gained 1.5lbs

    I know I shouldn't do it, but I do it anyway :) I just take the SW weigh in as 'official' and the others are just me being nosey :D

    dont be too disheartened hunni, when it was the my * week i put on 5lb! lol and i had been really good that week , really upset me i cried for hours seriously! but then the week after i lost 2 lb so ii guess it all evens out at some point. stick with it as it will work it is hard but i have never lost more than 2lb a week which used to bother me now im just happy to loose anything at all ! bet u have a great loss next week hunni. =] xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    LOL! Oh no!! That's funny because I went to the hospital yesterday. I've lost 13 lbs so far...but according to the hospital, I have only lost 3!!! It really depends on the time of day, what you're wearing etc. No worries love. I know that the number on that scale doesn't match the one on mine. (I double checked this morning just to make sure!) Until you're confident in what you're doing, these things may seem shocking. But as long as you know what you have done - and are confident that you're on the right path, it doesn't matter what ANYBODY'S scale says. Just the one that you weigh in on counts!! Keep going. You're doing great so far!
