Yesterday I called into Tesco (normally shop online).
I only needed a few bits and bobs for the children. I was really really good and only got those bits, no extras and was really shocked at how cheap my small shop was!
In the past I would have filled my trolley with alsorts of treats and snacks just of the sake of it, using the children as an excuse to buy the things I wanted.
I picked up some sweets for the children, then put them back. I must learn NOT to reward my children with foods. I don't want them to grow up and have the same emotional relationship with food that I'm now trying to break.
Since starting this diet I have been so much more organised and planned for the childrens meals (I have 4 children). They are eating so much heathier and I've already noticed a big difference in their engery levels and moods. Great thing is that they haven't even notcied the changes I've made to their diet!
