I try to have loads of cherry tomatoes in the fridge for snacking. In china they're always served as fruit anyway, but luckily dr d considers them veg or I'd be lost. I just pop them in a ziplock bag or plastic container and take them with me as a quick snack on the run.

Blergh. Lurgy in full effect today. Hubby took girls to school. I'm staying in bed.

Have decided I definitely do not like asparagus. It's too bitter no matter what I do to it.

Stumbled out of bed and have cooked salmon sausages and boiled eggs. If I feel like eating I have something to hand.

Gonna stick to pp pv pp pv this week as when I have 3x pp together I feel truly awful.

Well done on the loss Beth, you are doing really well. And no you cant have a double oatbran allowance, i am sure you know that but since you asked I thought I would answer anyway!! :D

How are you doing the asparagus? I cut off the ends and grill mine with some garlic salt and pepper. Not bitter as long as I avoid the woody stems... I bet beckstar has some delicious recipes too...

But cabbage works for me just as we'll. why not try the cabbage rice or a stir fry?

Hey.

I'm giving up with asparagus. Blergh.

I have been and still am so poorly. Been in bed for a week now. Do colds last longer when u get older? I swear a cold was a 3-4 day event? Headache and constant nose blowing is exhausting and I pulled a tummy muscle blowing my nose??

Have not stuck to anything. All I crave is bread - but can't taste anything???

Will sort myself out when over this darned cold.

How about nice chicken or veggie soup? Healthy and delicious when you're feeling under the weather. And homemade ginger tea is good too. Hope you feel better soon, Beth. Sending you lots of virtual vitamins!
