If you don’t lose or you gain, don’t give up

Hi all,
I have posted here when I was down, the first week I lost only 2pounds and I was disappointed as I have a lot to lose but I got alot of encouragement here and carried on but to my shock i gained 2.5 pounds,:cry: and I was very disappointed as I was committed to the diets 100% and start going to the gym regularly.


I have bought my 12 weeks SW membership in advance as I thought of SW as life style change rather than a diet.

The best news is that in my 3rd week I lost 3 pounds, and my fourth week I lost 4.5 pounds and I became slimmer of the week.


This diet does work, we just have to be patient.

Thanks for all your support here, I don’t know if I would have carried on without the support here.

Thats so fab for you, and its so nice to hear that all your effort has payed off. Its so easy to say youl be 100%, but doing it is a whole other thing, and esp after being so dissapointed.. you should be so proud. Also, 2lbs is a fab loss. but i can imagine you hear such fab weight loss storys and you want big results in your first week to spur you on.

I think it just goes to show positive thinking plays a huge part.

It is comparing others, as there was a lady with me who lost 11 lb in her first week so I wanted that big push at the start. I see it differently now, I just have to feel good, which I am, I never thought I would say this but I am addicted to the gym too. It is a whole of things I always wanted to do instead
Staring at tv and feeling low.
