Serena did you point the potato from raw? Because once cooked it weighs less and is less points! I found that out when I pointed a raw potato, then baked it and it was less points when cooked! So you might be able to take a point or two off.

I always weighed it cooked. and found you get a decent size x

I weighed it as 'Raw Potato' on the WW Kitchen Scales, is that not the right way to do it? X

I always weigh & pp my potatoes raw too, as well as pasta & rice, it feels more accurate!! Chips look amazing, love a new kitchen toy!

Well I currently look like I need to be booked in for a C-Section...,I always weigh my pasta raw so I just followed suit with the potato I guess! X

Glad the sneaky actifry purchase improved your mood. The chips people make in them always look really yummy but I've never been prepared to pay that much for something i can do in the oven. £50 seems a good price though.

It definitely did lol ;-) I too refused to pay £169.99 but I've been monitoring eBay for months, was just looking for a seller who I could barter with rather than let an auction run its course cos they still tend to go for over £100 if that happens! X Just need to make 50 portions of chips and ill have made it worthwhile ;-) x

because if you cook them the water comes out so you get more for the same points where as raw is heavier so you don't get as much. ....its like the saying whats heavier a ton of brick or a tonn of feathers? !? same weight just more chip x

Just caught up on 2days goings on. Your actifry was a gud deal your such a bargin hunter!! Did the chips taste as gud as they looked? Hows poppy 2day hun? So the blockage is stil there even tho u sat on the toilet for half hour and now u luk like u need a c section have i got that rite? U realy need to get the bum pills even just for the future. I remember when leah was a baby and was realy constipated i had to take her to hospital and she had a supositry and after an hour it worked its magic but the smell was horrific i was nearly sick. Even if u go 2moz they r stil worth going to get.x
