hello im new here. and joining for some motivation, i have 4 children, and live with my partner and children, i am 28. i started the cambridge diet 13 days ago, i lost 7lbs my first week, and 2lbs my 2nd, i think that is really slow :-( i worked so hard my 2nd week, i joined zumba classes, walked 5 miles twice, and only lost 2lbs, im so upset today over this, iv lost 18 inches since i started, i need to lose another 49lbs, xxx
 
Well done on your loses!!
2nd week can be a bit low but could be to do with the exercise. 18inches is fantastic. Keep it up.

Echo EmmaLou - that inch loss is AMAZING and as it does seem a bit at odds with the weight loss, I bet you've built some muscle from all the exericse. Keep measuring yourself - I have found some weeks I have a great weight loss, but my measurement don't really change, and then another week I lost 2 inches from my waist but didn't lose a pound! It can be frustrating but this diet works so quickly, you need to give your body time to adjust and catch up. xx
 
Hi, well done so far and please try not to be disheartened by the scales. Sometimes things are up and down week to week on this diet but you need to look at the overall picture each month to see what you have lost. Inch loss is marvellous so it is working. Chin up
