Indian Takeaway - Help!!

Are bhajis not quite high in carbs? Haven't a clue but I assume that flour is used in the coating?

Random google recipe..
4 onions sliced
75g gram flour (besan or chickpea flour)
150ml plain yoghurt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon ground cumin toasted
Pinch chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon ajawain seeds
Salt to taste
1/2 bunch chopped coriander leaf
1 green chilli chopped
Vegetable oil for deep frying

I guess the flour is where I went wrong. xx

Oops sorry. I love bhajis too, Indian restaurants are going to be a challenge. So addicted to garlic naan, chips, pliau rice and King prawn vindaloo. Chicken tikka doesn't quite compare! More worried about chinese food. Will do a search but anybody recommend anything that has no carbs? (I'm actually kicking off on the Go Lower program for a week befoe moving over to conventional foods).

lmao. IPD is this Nerys and India book "Idiot Proof Diet". I've not read it all yet but it's just another spin on low carbing which I've done before with great success. I'm glad I found this forum because it's obvious how supportive you are of each other. It's massive though - so many threads. Just want to get started now - have all of this enthusiasm at the moment and can't wait to sort myself out for Summer!

Oh that book! Ive it on me lap, pet... page 144 "Almost any Indian curry without rice or bread" is ok. Cauliflower Bhaji are ok.

Its a cool book. Have you the Cooking book as well? Such a witty little read
