Thanks guys :) he looks a lot more sweet and innocent than he is...behind thos eyes he is plotting the downfall of our male cat Yoshi! He is our baby though :)

Furbabies rock!!! My Smudgie Bear is crashed out next to me on the sofa now. Strange little rescue nutter! :-D

She3's cute Lisa,

Vicky how many dogs do you have?

5 at the mo. Hannah had pups and ive sold all but 2!

Aww, all these gorgeous babies. Love choc labs.

hi watergirl :)
nice to have you here with us, so much chatter can never have too many peeps participating! great news on you new found healthiness too!
i amon atkins for the weightloss, but also for the other benefits. i have yoyo dieted for years, CD, slimfast, pills etc, you name it i've done it, with various successes. however, having slowly put it all on again, struggled big time to lose anything, and felt very ropey to boot.
now feeling much better, hair nails and skin better, very pleased all round. i had long suspected that carby food was doing me no good, and often cut it out of meals, but now doing it in a more organised fashion the weight is sloooowly shifting.
however, my OH is also overweight, and type 2 diabetic,so he is also decides to try atkins, is losing weight and his GR is now 5.7, incredible for him.
it's great doing it together, so much easier in the shopping and cooking dept.
and this forum is fantastic, has really made a difference to our stickability, no question goes unanswered!

forgot to say, we too have a collie, working variety, and her companion is a belgian shepherd, both rescue dogs, great girls!

aww :) another dog lover!

Hi Watergirl. What a wonderful feeling to feel normal again. I'm really pleased for you.

I did Atkins for weight loss on and off for a few years. I noticed that my joints stopped aching when I did low carb and I most likely have a wheat intolerance. Before I just assumed it was arthritis. I'm now pain free and thinner. Now I just need to find that wheat free vodka and I'm laughing:D

Good luck with the plan.

Awww all your fur babies are beautiful. Would love to see your cats Watergirl. I have 2 beautiful moggie fur babies, but would love 2 chocolate labs or any dog really. Maybe someday.
