Hello everyone, let me introduce my self - I've been battling my weight since I was about 17 - I'm 27 now. I'm constantly yoyo dieting and will lose and gain the same 15-20 pounds (and then some) over and over again. In the summer of 2007 I was at my heaviest - 159lbs, and really started working out and eating right in about Jan/Feb 2008 in order to get ready for my wedding in July 2008. To make a long story short I weighed 129lbs on my wedding day. It is now about 6 months later and I am back up to 144lbs! I'm not sure what is wrong with me! I'm addicted to sweets and I eat a lot of junk food like crisps and chocolate, and I'm never really hungry, I usually do it out of sheer boredom or the habbit of just eating chocolate. I'm originally from Canada, but moved to London in August, and have been loving all of the yummy new cakes and chocolate bars that we didn't have in Canada. I've really got to start sorting out my weight, I don't fit into any of the clothes I moved here with, and the fun UK fashions just don't suit my heavy figure, and I hate being this size. I seem to be an all or nothing type of person - I can do great and loose a lot of weight when I go to the gym and eat properly, but I have to be 100% committed, otherwise I just seem to fall off the wagon and go back to my old habbits of sitting around watching tv, eating way too much food and not working out at all. I'm starting my new life and workout plan tomorrow. I have ordered the I Can Make You Think book and CD with the hopes that it can help me realize why I eat so much when I'm not hungry and help me control my cravings. The other problem I have is that when I'm trying to eat healthy I tend to eat the same things all the time. Chicken breast, carrots, celery, brocoli, salmon, quiona, etc. I'm a picky eater, and do not like peppers (green, red, yellow), onions and tomatoes. These things are most often found in salads so because of this, I never order a salad at a restaraunt, and instead will always go for something more appealing such as a pasta dish or fish and chips. I know I need to work on this, but I just feel like I'm wasting food. I've bought all those things before and attempted to try them at home to see if I can make myself like them, but I've always just thrown them in the bin. Anyways, that's just a little bit about me. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone. I'm really glad I found this site, because I'm looking for support especially since I'm very embarassed to admit (although I am finally admitting it) that I am a compulsive over eater, and will eat out of boredom and habit and not know where to start. I'm sure there are a lot of you here that can relate.

Thansk for reading, and wish me luck!
