Irish stew help please ...

Hi,

I think this should be free on EE but please confirm. I just got my son a portion from our local shop and thought oh I might be allowed that so asked the girl and she said there is
Steak pieces
potatoes and veg
Beef stock cubes
Soy sauce

in it would this be free on EE ?

is it from an extra lean cut of steak or doesnt it matter, i am so confused.

You need to be sure that all visible fat was taken off the meat and that the meat was lean in the first place too.

It's tricky but unless it's made in front of you, you never can tell hun.

And I suspect that they will have used some sort of fat when cooking the meat, which would mean it would no longer be free.

Tins of Irish stew aren't very high in syns on either plan but on Ee you take the lower syn value. M&S one is 2.5syns a can and Tesco is 3 syns a can.(I love Irish stew as a cupboard standby)

As your one is fresh it might be a bigger portion. To be sure I'd allow a couple of syns incase.
