Is it ok to consolidate for one week?

    I am on week four of the Dukan and have lost 12lbs and I am down to 10 stone 7lbs which is amazing for me! I ideally would like to try and get down to 10 stone exactly, however I go on holiday on Monday (for one week) so I was thinking I will do the consolidation phase for one week and then go back onto cruise when I get back until I'm down to 10 stone. Is that ok to do?

    It's better to do consolidation then to go bat **** crazy and eat off diet all week!

    That's just my opinion though, if you gain just do some extra pp days when your back?

    Honestly, I think it's 'ok' to do anything, as long as you make the rules beforehand and then stick to them. That way you'll still be in control and won't go way off track. I had 1 or 2 holiday weeks on dukan where I decided that I'd stick to PV eating, but would drink what I wanted in the evening. PiƱa coladas, margaritas, gin tonics, wine... BUT by then I was in ketosis and got drunk on one cocktail :)

    Not following the rules, I know, but I avoided the pastries and dessert table all week which would have been much worse. I ended up actually losing weight on some of these breaks because I kept busy and had fun and exercised lots, so there you go.

    Don't be unrealistic: think about what you can do to still enjoy your holiday and not go too wild, and then pick things up when you get back, possibly with a couple of attack days to get back into the swing of things.
