Just a note in case you're interested.
I've been doing a lot of checking up about coffee these last few days. I knew it wasn't a diuretic as people used to say, but I was surprised to find it was actually pretty healthy stuff. It's full of antioxidants and other cool stuff
In fact, coffee has 4 times the amount of antioxidants than in tea. Very cool (being a coffee drinker)
Back in Atkins day, coffee was demonized, but research updates and opinions change.
PS. Still believe Atkins first book was better than ones that have been written since his death...you know..the ones that try to promote the Atkins products
Just think he might have been wrong about coffee.
Oh, and coffee is actually fine when you are in ketosis. Possibly even beneficial as studies have shown that it improves fatty acid mobilization. Still, everything in moderation and all that.
