Morning!

Happy Friday Sat at work and I haven't even loaded my emails yet lol, scared to see what's there post resignation I've been told it didn't go down well at all on Tuesday but she'd calmed down a bit by Wednesday. I could just fall asleep at my desk today! Didn't get home til past midnight after being out all day. Was planning no doing a Fast day today but it's not going to happen as I'm just lacking in energy lol! It's going to be a Healthy Eating day, I won't be having any sweet treats or anything..not much planned though, had Magic Porridge for Breakfast, dinner is Chickpea & Mixed Bean salad. Tea? Hoping my Mam has something in mind or i'll have a rummage tonight.

Came home and I had a box from my American friend that got lost in the post for 3 weeks lol! She sent me 2 boxes, 1 for my birthday with presents in and this one, which I now know is American goodies. Won't be having anything today but did have a chocolate bunny late last night :giggle:















So, London! Crammed lots in. St James Park, Hyde Park, Buck Palace, Covent Garden, Leicester Sq, Trafalgar Sq, London Eye, along the South Bank and a couple of the museums / galleries. Food wise it involved a little picnic in St James Park, McDonalds (so classy i know!) a tapas restaurant, an Italian in Marylebone and Chipotle..oh, and a Pinkberry from Selfridges Done a fair bit of shopping too! Had shops I wanted to go to which we don't have back up home..Forever 21, Victorias Secret, Liberty, Selfridges and then just normal chain shops too xx

I can sympathise about stupid work overreaction to resignation - my diary a few weeks ago was full of heartache about the way my bosses reacted! All you can do it focus on the job in hand and count down the days til you escape. Hope it's not too bad for you honey. You know we're all here for you if you want to vent! xx

Thank you Well I had plenty of emails to come back to but none from her. Spoke to the other 2 in the office and like I say, didn't go down well at all. She hadn't even seen my fecking email as she'd brought Jennie's laptop instead of her own (she's the other director, they're together) So Annette handed it to her just like "Here's Joanne's letter" ofc she was like....what letter? Then it all blew up. She was ranting all day long about me and was biting everyones head off more than usual. She said she was going to do me a bad reference for the way i've handled it etc but Annette convinced her not to do that, so she wrote the reference on her behalf! Phew. Apparantly I should have told her I was looking for another job?? What on earth, no one does that! Why would you? She said it's a 2 way street but would she say to me "By the way...I might sack you in a couple of weeks time, then again..I might not" Of course she wouldn't. Tough! I've had my new contract and handbook etc delivered while I was away So, i'll next see her when they're back from holiday on 7th May. Sorry for the rant! xx

Loving a chilled out Saturday so far! Not done a great deal yet just popped out to the shops and about to has a mass tidy up, in major need of it Going to get planning a weeks worth of meals later and get the online shop sorted for tomorrow. Didn't officially weigh in on Friday as I forgot all about it. Had a look this morning though and definitely a few pounds up so need to get those off ASAP!

In my contract it's 2 months but seen as no one takes on with that much, I said I'm doing 1 month. Think I mentioned that the other office staff have all had enough and are upping sticks (we're the longest serving team they've had in 30 years!) Chris in Finance had to serve a minimum of 2 months so he's put notice in and leaving September at the latest. Our office manager had an interview on Friday and she got the job! It's only 12 hours per week but thats what she wanted as she's older..early 50s and has a lot of other commitments, her main thing is teaching music. She starts her new job in June but is going to stay here until August. That only leaves Julie who works 4 hours a day lol! That's all the office staff we have for both offices..there are 40+ therapists and tutors etc but technically they're self employed. Sorry for the long ramble there! Just shows what they're like though, I can't wait to finish. Hopefully my last day will be 21st May, starting the new job 28th May xx

Had a later dinner / early tea at like, 3.30 as my dads going to work early and it's easier if I make things for everyone! I'll get hungry later on so I'm thinking an egg mayo / salad cream sandwich and some pineapple!

Yep not bad thanks! Bought the latest SW magazine today so i've just been flicking through the recipes to add some to my meal plans for the weeks, going to do the online shop soon. Mac n cheese, pulled pork, meatball pasta bake all sound lovely as does a rice / bean recipe in there what I could take for my dins at work xx
