I had italian on Thursday and opted for a tuna and prawn pasta main in a spicy tomato sauce.

The best options to go for is pasta in a tomatoey sauce, rather than a creamy one. Then all you have to syn is the oil. Avoid garlic bread etc., and maybe go for a side salad and ask for no dressing, that's what I did.
A lot of places don't mind if you ask for stuff to be cooked differently as well, like vegetables with no butter etc. so don't be afraid to ask.

I'm going to an Italian restaurant this week as well, not sure what to get myself! Do you think there would be many syns in spag Bol?
