I've started, and I WILL finish fabulously (that's the plan anyway) :)

Take care Nat - and I really, really hope little Max feels better soon!! Poor little chap :(

You're a star and an inspiration!! Don't you forget it!

Awwww, thank you :)

Well, Max is getting better in the fact that he's started eating, but he's not right. He's now off milk, which is a vital part of his diet! He's also not himself, sleeping a lot. He went to sleep at noon and is still asleep! I figure he needs it so not going to wake him.

So, just thought I'd quickly pop in here to say HI to all of you lovely ladies :)

Weighed this morning and put 2lbs on, it was expected so no biggy. BUT, it has made me stop faffing around and get back on the diet! I simply cannot put any weight back on, so as of this morning, I am back on the diet. I've found carbs too much tbh, they leave me feeling bloated, and GUILTY!! So, enough is enough, I've got about 10 days on this diet before all the fun begins, then if need be, I'll start again after.
I am disappointed with myself because I was SO determined to do this until end of April, when in reality, I only did about 4.5 weeks on it!

Anyway, no point dwelling. I'm back on it and that is that! Trouble is, I can't exercise any more, arrgghh! I know the 2lbs back on isn't fat - it's either water or muscle, but even so, the scales are going in the wrong direction, so it's time to act, lol!

Hope you're all okay? I miss you all!! xxx

Glad Max is getting better, don't fret about those 2lbs they will drop off! Just get your head back into it.

Thank you Ladies :)

Started off well, then had some choc! Still okay on cals though. I really am not in the zone and so mad with myself! Got to do this, I do not fail, arrrghhhh!!

Good Morning Ladies, and thank you! :)

Okay, so I decided to restart the diet now things have calmed down a bit.

I only gained 3.25lbs in all the time I was off the diet, not bad to say I literally ate my body weight in cake and crap, several times over lol!!

I put this down to one thing, having looked at my logs - I did not keep to the restrictive diet at all - I kept below 1,000 cals, but kept my carbs as low as possible. If I needed more protein, I had more protein - I'd rather be happy and gain it slower than downright misterable!

I also had (careful!) days off!

So, I am thinking, because of the way I did the diet, I didn't put the water weight back on, because it probably never completely went! My weight has only crept up 3.25lbs over the last week or so, and I think that is simply due to the amount of times we've eaten out, takeaways, etc.

Anyway, I started again on Saturday at 10st 13lbs. I weighed this morning at 10st 8.75lbs, WHOOP!

I had more protein on BOTH days - Day One, 270g Salmon & Day Two - 180g Salmon and 2 boiled eggs. Missing one SnS pack, keeping carbs around 40-45g only.

It's working! I even had a few strawberries, and an Option Hot Chocolate last night (after checking carbs!!). I figure I am more successful the less I deny myself, so I am going to continue doing what suits me, and not follow the plan to a T. I know this way, I'll lose the weight, and I will not gain any water weight.

Max's eating is touch and go - I've had such a nightmare it's been unbelievable, but I think I'm finally getting somewhere! He's started eating better, and has been referred to a specialist. So far so good - I'm just happy he's accepting food again!

Been so busy, but things are calming down now. Thought it was time to pop in and say a big HELLO and HUGS to all of you lovely ladies!

How're you all? Behaving I hope lol!! ;)
I've missed you!

Good for you! It's always handy to see how life after diet will work, you have done a great job considering all the stress etc so you get a big pat on the back from me!
Glad Max is getting better, slowly but surely does it.
Working the diet round your life helps to ease the hassle, as long as you are happy then go for it, you have all the tools at your disposal so just shape it to our needs and tweak what you need to make it work.

Glad to hear all is going ok, was thinking about you a lot so tanks for the update!
Hugs from here..

Well, I am well and truly NOT keeping up to date on here am I!!

Life is just so crazy - Max is ill AGAIN! :( Poor little lad has had, since beginning of April - Rotavirus, 3 colds, a diarrhea bug which lasted 10 days, and now he's got either Noro or Rotavirus AGAIN!

How much more can he be expected to take! :( Surely he must think it's normal to feel like this, and I of course, am so stressed and at my wit's end!

He was weighed today, and even though he'd dropped weight two weeks ago, he has managed to put a few ozs back on, Lord knows how!
The sickness and runs stopped today, but his appetite is worse than ever, so it's a real struggle just to get enough down him.

Anyway, that's what's been taking up all my time!

I only did two days on the diet, lost 5lbs and managed to keep it off even though I ate like a pig (lol). Then, we went away for the night on Saturday - had three meals in total, and put the 5lbs back on. I know it's only water, so having been back on the diet a day, 4lbs have gone again, and this time I am sticking to it until I get to goal - no more messing around! I find it so easy, I really don't know why I've been messing around for so long (apart from stress!).
However, I had forgotten all about being invited out tomorrow night, so I'll be good all day, have the night off, then start again on Sunday - damage limitation!

So, I am now 10st 10lbs. My aim is 10st. I know I'll gain around 4-6lbs in water weight, so may be I'll go a little lower with the aim being I stabilise around 10st 2lbs.

I'm not doing the strict SnS diet - I've only had one pack today, and then some lean chicken with two boiled eggs, and two 'Options' Hot Chocolates - I don't know why that's not allowed on the diet, it's only 40 cals and 5g carbs per cup. If I substitute one pack, I can have two cups a day (it's REALLY helping with the sweet cravings!), and still have less cals/carbs than one meal pack!

I have as much protein as I like, and if I fancy a tiny treat, I will have one!

I do however, keep carbs very low, and cals below 800. One day a week, I'll go up to 1,200 cals, as I strongly believe that this will stop my body going in to starvation mode, and will help with maintenance. I think given this is what I did, and only gained some water weight, it seems to work for me.

Furthermore, I am not yo-yo'ing any more, having a couple of days on the diet then back off it. I don't think it's any good for the metabolism, and don't want that to have any effect on my long-term metabolism, so apart from tomorrow night, I am on the diet until I reach goal, and that is that!

I look back at my journal and see how easy it was, how the weight dropped off, and really wonder why I stopped when I was so near to goal! May be it's because my clothes now fit me again, not sure.
However, a few more lbs gone and they'll fit even better, so this is it, I am waging war on the last 10bs, and I will win lol!

I am SO sorry for being so rubbish and not keeping up to date with you all on here :( Really I am!

I hope you're all really well, and going well with your diets! I'm going to try to get around everyone's diaries to say hi and try to catch up, but please bear with me, my poorly baby is taking up most of my time, and has been for ages now bless him!

Have a FABULOUS holiday weekend Ladies!

Love & :bighug:xxxx
