Susiannah, sorry about your husbands job. I have just been through it, and if it is any comfort, there are loads of good jobs out there, despite the picture the media paints. Personally I have been spoilt for choice. I don;t know your husbands occupation but if it is not too highly specialised I am sure he will find good opportunitieis out there.

What I'm struggling with now, apart from trying to find another holiday, is getting my head around the diet time line. I had it all set and laid out neatly and I knew exactly where I was going to be and what I'd be doing. I will get my head around it soon. Several people on here have complimented me on my easy attitude with this diet, which it still is!! I'm just peed off my schedule has been knocked sideways.

What a b####er FT, sorry to hear about your Holiday.
May be a blessing in disguise though as you could well find a better one at lower cost (prices are falling daily at the moment), I assume you will get all cash back?
Also could give you a little longer on the RTM route, rather than having to follow the LLL plan?
Always a silver lining, but hard to see it at the moment!

Just wanted to say thanks for all your supportive messages ... I'm sure things will be fine, we have got over the shock now and are quite positive that he will find another job although his line of work is electronics (business development/sales) and things are not good in that industry at the moment.
But onwards and upwards (or downwards for us lot!) as they say.

Well done as always on all the magnificent losses.
Don't worry Daisy. After the naughty week and putting on 1lb I was hoping for a great loss this week. But it was not to be. I only lost 1lb as well
I do exercise and I find that if I stop I tend to have too much time on my hands and my mind starts to wonder (hence the bad week last week). Plus I feel so much better after a good session on the gym and I go with my OH so it's something we can do together.

Not quite the same but it's more or less the same time scale so I'm back on track with the diet thingy!! I was shocked at how much that knocked me sideways! Probably because I intend to be really focused on the RTM part this time.

Thanks Daisydoll - I feel terrific about it too - not just about the losing the weight and getting to target but i actually feel like I have achieved something. I'm not the best at seeing things through to the end always!!

I have been hibernating .----well I was away on Holiday and lapsed but so glad as only put on 3lb so only 7lb to lose in the next 2 week.
Starting RTM in 2 weeks.
Anybody else starting RTM?? I am actually confused as my LLC says the other option is to do LLL. I think she thinks I need to lose more but I want to do so while I am not in abstinence, IYSWIM.
Any advice????

Hi sansukh. Glad you were fairly restrained on hols!!
I'm doing another 4 weigh ins (last one on 19 April). Then doing the 4 week Lite RTM for hols at end of May then doing LLL for the excess when I get back. So probably thinking the same as you re the full abstinence bit.

I'm doing another 4 weigh ins (last one on 19 April). Then doing the 4 week Lite RTM for hols at end of May then doing LLL for the excess when I get back. So probably thinking the same as you re the full abstinence bit.
