jerusalem artichokes

Is anyone eating jerusalem artichokes? Nutritionally they are practically the same as celeriac - 100g= 73 cal, 17g carbs, 9.6g sugars, .01g fat, 2g protein
I saw them in Tesco the other day but I've never had them before and have no clue as to what they taste like! :) They're apparently recommended to diabetics as a substitute for potatoes...
 
The flavour is good, particularly in soup, or you can mash them like potatoes. Infamously called 'fartichokes'...... !
They dont affect me too badly but they are fiddly to peel and I generally prefer celeriac or squash.
