Well done Jess, just read your whole diary. What a fantastic first week loss. I'm starting on friday, and if I can lose half that in a week I'll be chuffed! A bit gutted about the advice to not exercise for a few weeks as am meant to be doing a charity zumbathon on Saturday afternoon-4 hours of Zumba-but not sure if it'll be a good idea. Might just go along and do a little bit! Anyway, look forward to following your progress-I'm going to start my own new s&s diary today I think xx

Tuesday 10[SUP]th[/SUP] April 2012
WEEK 2 Day 3
WEIGHT = 15st 8.6lbs CHANGE = 1.4lb
Well hello everyone I’m properly back now – well able to write on my diary properly anyway. I’ve got my laptop back and tomorrow I will catch up properly with everyone as I have a few jobs to do today.
Im still 100% which is the first shock to me really now 10 days in and the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] shock is I have lost another 1.4lbs this morning and 0.6 yesterday so that’s 2lb in 2 days. I must admit it is a shock as I have NEVER kept losing like this after the first week so I think that there must be some magic in the packs!!!! Oh don’t get me wrong it hasn’t all been plain sailing – I felt quite weak and hungry yesterday dunno why but kept glugging water and cups of tea – and peeing alot as a result, but it helps tho to think the quicker it comes off the shorter time I will be on the diet so I KNOW I need to drink more!

I have read my diary from here from 2009 which I did in the later stages and I know I got really fed up at about week 16 or 17 feeling like the freak on the diet, but I’m hoping this time that isn’t going to happen, cos we are allowed food!

Hope everyone is doing okay and I will call in on everyone elses diary tomorrow Keep up the good work everyone!!!!!

Wednesday 11[SUP]th[/SUP] April 2012
WEEK 2 Day 4
WEIGHT = 15st 9lbs CHANGE = +0.4lb Total lost so far = 12.5lbs
Well I didn’t drink hardly any water yesterday with one thing and another, but managed about 1L of tea and it has shown on the scales. I’m not complaining I know its my own fault and I feel quite ill today – in that I feel light headed and nauseous – needless to say I’m now on my 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] 500ml bottle. Please let this be a warning to all other vlcders you NEED to drink your water.

Im off to read everyone’s diary now to have a proper catch up.

Thursday 12[SUP]th[/SUP] April 2012
WEEK 2 Day 5
WEIGHT = 15st 8.6lbs CHANGE = 0.4lb Total lost so far = 13lbs
Morning – I’ve lost the 0.4 I retained yesterday in fluid! I don’t think I’m going to lose much more this week but thats’ ok cos I had such a big loss last week!
Doing stuff with kids today ready for back to school so will be on and off all day

just to say Im still 100% but I have had loads to do today and I am applying for a job so trying to get something convincing together for why they should interview and recruit me!!!! will be around later

WEEK 3 Day 1
WEIGHT = 15st 7lbs CHANGE = 1lb Total lost so far = 14.6lbs
Results are in and I’ve lost my first stone – YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS gone forever never to return!!!!
So I lost 3.6lbs this week so Im really chuffed as you can imagine – I must admit I feel about 3 stone lighter and have a spring in my step and my brain feels alot clearer now Im not downing 2L of pepsi max. And the other great thing about this ‘diet’ is I don’t feel like Im on a diet really as I always have tea with my family. Roll on week 3
Hope everyone is hanging in there and doing okay will be around later got stuff to do today

Hey everyone thanks for all the support it means alot - I have been a bit awol cos I have been tryin to sort this application form out - it had to sound just right! I have just submitted it and I then I saw there was a typo on it - I bet I dont get an interview now! Well not so much of a typo but in the suporting info I was putting the blurb and had headings and the cat jumped up and deleted a bit by mistake and I didnt notice so instead of it saying I.T. and Languages it says I.T. AND L and then goes into the blurb! lets hope they dont mind it.

Jo - the job is to be a patient advocate it sounds exciting so I hope I get an interview

Kids are back in school tomorrow YEY peace and quiet they ar chomping at the bit to go back. Ive got to take the kittens to the vets in the morning for theor jabs IF I can manage to get them in the carrier - it took me 40mins last time!

Am still 100% weight loss was a sts this morning but I dont mind as I lost sao big the first week and as long as i get between 2 and 4 a week Im happy!

sorry I went awol - I was poorly (dizziness, nausea and the shakes) and thought it was the diet so I started to eat to see if it was (even though I didnt think it was as I have never felt like that before once in fat burning.

Unfortunately once out of fat burning I didnt really feel the incentive to get back on the diet and found every excuse under then sun not to - i.e. having to apply for the job, get ready for the interview, have the interview, get back to work in a different job - the list is endless!)
I must admit the most successful time I had on a vlcd was when there were no break weeks and there was just no food at all. I managed 16 weeks and as soon as food was reintroduced thats where it all went wrong......... anyhoo

I had 3 weeks on the diet and lost 18.5lbs. I then put on my 7lbs of glycogen and Im pleased to report I have maintained the 11.5lbs loss this last 2 weeks which Im really pleased about and amazed i have to say I thought I would put it all back on.

So I have 4 weeks till my hols and Im off work for the next 4 days so am on day 1 again today and getting into fat burning before going to work on mon and my aim is 21lbs off for my hols!

Know how you feel hun. It's so hard to break the old habits. I can't seem to get past day 1! Am honestly thinking
of taking a bus to somewhere remote & holing myself up in a cheap hotel for the weekend & not bring any money
or cards! Just to get myself away from my demons!!! Ahhhhh!
