Just a quick hello and 3 questions from me

Hi I am a 34 year old mother of two, I have struggled with weight issuse for the last 13.5 years. I have decided to take the plunge and start lipotrim tomorrow as I would love to be a smaller size for my birthday this year.

I know from reading your posts on lipotrim that it is not an easy road, but I don't want to be over weight anymore. I want my life back and know that I have to take back the control so I am determind to give it all I have.

Reading your stories of success have made me see that I too can be a loser if I put my mind into it :). Many people do not realise how hard it is for people who have to battle with their weight, It is time for change!!

My only questions right now are: 1) How do you guys cope with cravings before your monthlys?(I tend to really pig out at this time) 2) Do you think it is possible to lose 5 stone by August this year? and 3) Is there anyone who managed to slim down their huge hips and thighs on this diet? (by huge I mean 45 plus inches around the hips)

I thank you again for all your inspirational stories, if there is anyone just starting out like me get in touch....we can support each other.

I forgot to add I am off work until the 6th of June so hopefully I should not be feeling weak and tired by then, so right now I will be at home and not very active.

Hi Saddlebags!, Im a starter too i started mine today. I havnt felt hungry at all, just feeling like i want to eat when i see family making food! :( good luck x

Hi Saddlebags (not for long! ;-)) It's hard..the first few days are tough to get through, you start to kid yourself that you're hungry, but actually it's just the sugar/carb cravings in your body. Drink water if you feel it coming on, pint or so at one sitting, that's how i manage, it makes me feel full suddenly! Can't help with the monthly cravings, I don't get hungry, I just get grumpy!! Stick with it, I lost 4stone last year, best thing I ever did. Did that fairly quickly, so you'll easily lose 5 by August. Have put on about just half of that (I know where I went wrong...Dominoes!) so back on it now. Keep at it x x

Hi girls. I am a restarter today is day 1. I have done lipotrim before and will try and answer your questions.

1) I actually didn't find my cravings as bad with my cycle while on lipotrim? I often thought it was because I must be getting the right balance of vitamins and minerals on it (for once). I do feel a bit cold when I have them. Coffee helps me.

2) It really depends on what weight you are now. Do you mean beginning or end of Aug. You could probably do it by end Aug or near enough. That is 16 weeks. I lost 3 stone in 8 weeks last time.

3) I guarntee if you lose 5 stone your hips will be hugely changed! But I highly recommend measuring them now before you start. It is a great motivator for days when your feeling a bit fed up and feeling like quitting to go and recheck those measurements and calculate all your losses.

It is a tough diet but it 100% works. But stick to it 100% and drink the water for best results.

Wow you guys really are amazing! Thank you for getting back to me...I feel both scared and excited for tomorrow. I know it will be the first step towards a new me. I just hope I see it through to the end. I will definately take on board the advice you have given. DanielleW how has your first day been? You will have to let me know if it gets easier. This site really is full of supportive people, I'm so glad I found you. Thank you tantan and Sara4 for your words of wisdom. I think my totm is due soon as I feel a bit emotional lol.

We can do this ladies (she says and she has not even started yet lol) NO seriously WE CAN DO THIS! I will make sure I check in every day,even if its just to read inspirational posts.

My first day has been fine, i thought id of given up and went out and got a chinese by the end of the night. I havnt felt the need to eat at all. I had a little go on the scales at 9pm and im ive lost 1.6lb. Finding it quite difficult to drink 2 liters of water. Im currently working a night shift now and normally id have a bag full of chocolate, crisps and sweets to eat but im not missing them at all. Im doing better than i thought! :) x

Hi julieC. and DanielleW How are you feeling today? It is just gone 11.30am and I am about to make my first shake...vanilla with a spoonful of coffee. I have been told it is quite nice lol. Have not had any water yet will try and chug down 3-4 litres through out today. Congrats for getting through your first day...keep going! I will let you know how my day goes.

2nd day going good! i tried the vanilla shake with coffee and sweetner this morning it made me physically sick, my fav is the strawberry, but havnt tasted the chocolate yet. Still dont feel the need to eat yet & no headaces or anything yet. Hows your first day going ? :)

Well done those of you who have been 100% today. It has not been a good day for me. I will been starting fresh tomorro, (wont go into what happened as this is the 100% forum) I think I will start drinking water earlier on in the day to fill up.

Im off work for 4 weeks so really hope to be in the swing of the diet by the time I go back to work. Any tips on how to keep busy at home? I struggled making dinner for my children today, how do any other mothers on this diet get through cooking? any tips please guys, I really want to do this, but can see it is not going to be as easy as I thought!

hey there i am just starting out aswell and just registered on here.
today is day 4 and i am still feeling really hungry and headachey all time and not liking any of the shakes, wondering if i should just have 3 soups a day as i can just manage them. i am the same with cooking for my little girl i dont know how i didnt put a fish finger in my mouth at tea time :cry:but i am very proud i have been 100% faithful to this diet so far :)

Hi girls. I find cooking for the kids the hardest part too! But mass cook and freeze. Every evening this week make 3 times as much dinner as you need and freeze the rest. Then you won't have to cook for the next 2 weeks. Or spend a day just cooking and freeze it all. My girls love their dinners and quick teas don't work for them, so I find it easier to have it all frozen. But I hear ya on the fish fingers!! The smell of them is so tempting!

yes my little girls usually the same she loves her proper dinners but that is a good idea about making bigger batches the next few days and freezing. going to attempt a shop at tesco on monday :-/ wish me luck haha

i must be twisted or something i love cooking 4 my family because i have more time to cook up different meals 4 them instead of ready meals. cus before i just wanted to stuff my own face with junk and didnt think what it was doing to them never mind myself.

hey ginagee, I agree with you.. I take any opportunity to cook for my family and boyfriend now! haha I love it, don't feel tempted by it, it just satisfies me to put together healthy, well balanced meals! I also love to watch them eat it........ Kinda weird actually:giggle:. When i'm craving bad I also like to sniff food....just take a nice long whiff and then I put it back haha!
