I am trying for a baby and hope to be pregnant over the next 3 months i am currently 193 pounds and have been trying to lose weight 3 stone hopefully. I am calorie counting and having an intake of 1000 to 1200 calories a day with a little more relax on a weekend, I am eating really healthy. I am really wanting to know is it safe to continue to lose the pounds while i am pregnant? and continue as i am?
 
Not to that extent of low calories, you should eat at least 1200 anyway or you will be hindering yourself as your body will go into starvation and store anything you eat as fat, you can continue to lose weight but it will probably slow down and the best thing to do would be to eat a healthy diet with enough calories, you will be able to discuss it with your midwife when you are pregnant about the best way to go about it, good luck x
