Ah I meant go on the day you want but start the diet on exactly 12 weeks but I doubt 1 day will make a difference to be honest

I'd go by what the doctor says. After all, she has done a five year medical degree, several months' electives and medical practice. You can truthfully sign your form saying you're not breastfeeding or pregnant. You can choose not to mention that you had a baby two months ago.
