    Good afternoon fellow CC'ers

    I'm Kate, a errrr fortysomething (how the heck did that happen) yo-yo dieter. I have actually been dieting since I was fifteen years of age so you'd think I would have got the hang of it by now, but no, here I am again on the weightloss merry-go-round.

    This time I am trying to shift about eighteen pounds that I have put on during the past year due to some health issues. Well I blame that obviously, but in reality 50% of that weightloss is where I have been comforting myself with bars of choccie, glasses of wine and cream cakes.:D

    So, I've given myself an allowance of about 1300 calories this time, but obviously this would be more if I did some vigerous exercise. I'm a regular gym goer so that allowance is more likely to be in the region of 1500-1600 on my exercise days. I'm also keeping track of my calorie intake with the help of some weightloss software I have downloaded - far simpler than scraps of paper all over the house.

    So that's basically me in a nutshell folks. I enjoy chatting and a good old moan about life, so if you're like minded and see me online, say hi so I don't quite feel like newbie outsider I am.

    hiya! im counting calories too, blending it with the herbalife diet but have allowed myself the same calorie intake as you. I WAS a regular gym go-er and am starting back tonight...eekk! good luck with ur plan...will keep an eye on ya :D xxxxxxxxxxxxx
