Kallo organic stock cubes

Hi guys

Ive been lurking on here for the past week or so and noticed that you are all counting these stock cubes as 0.4 carbs per cube.

According to the back of the pack they are 0.4 carbs per 100ml of made up stock but each cube makes 500mls. Does this not make them 2 carbs per cube coz thats how Ive been counting them? (Can you tell Im a tad obsessive about this carb counting thing, lol)

Hmm, indeed it does Jo, that's naughty of them isn't it.

I thought that too,

I made mine up to 500ml, but only used about 200ml and tipped the rest down the sink.

500ml is a heck of a lot of stock for one person.

Not if your making a big batch to freeze. I found a sainsburys own brand of ready made stock and the beef stock is only a trace of carbs per 100g

If you was making a big batch with the kallo one tho you could split the carbs between the number of portions? I meant it's a lot for one portion - sorry it's just been one of them days lol

Oh. Lol. I think the one i brought was a 500ml bag. Its black and red. Wasnt mega expensive either
