Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

Morning Katie! Wow! Well done on the loss. That's great. I need to crack on with my final 9lbs-feeling a bit low on motivation as now feel I look okish. However I do need to reach goal and complete this journey.

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy your meal out-sounds lovely! We are going to have lots of sunshine so that's something to look forward to.x

Morning Katie, sounds good to me love. I levelled off at between 45-50 carbs a day and that seems to work for me

Evening all, hope you had fabulous days:)

This end the exhibition was nice - so many creative and interesting ideas and most not in sell mode. So if you said you loved something and did then the artist just appreciated the feedback:D.

Spent the afternoon relaxing and reading books - back feeling better as i really hate standing around. However, now paying for last nights dancing - lots of achy muscles especially glutes:eek: since i'm hoping to get to zumba at 10 tomorrow i have another kill or cure opportunity;)

Did decide that muscle relaxant would help so we had DHs birthday bottle of wine with our steak this evening. Also we are trying to be relatively in practice for tomorrow nights anticipated blow out;)

Hope all ready for a great weekend!

Food for today:
B bacon, eggs, half slice burgen
S celery houmous
L cheese and salami wraps, tomatoes
S pork crackling
D steak, celeriac chips, brocolli
S sf jelly (no cream as its off:( !)

W some
E lots of walkng and standing
A oh yes:D

Yay you.... OWL really does rock. x

Well done Katie and so glad you're feeling better. Fortunately I've not got what my OH has, so fingers crossed I'm ok. Can't wait until I can try OWL, sounds great.

Morning Katie... Hope the back and muscles are rested :)

Morning all. Thanks for the support:)

Need to go to m&s to buy more trous again as keep tripping over the long falling down ones i have  but in the meantime......

just waiting for class to start - it's Zumba time:D

Xx

Evening:). Just waiting for the babysitter and then off out for our gourmet tasting menu up in town. And no it wont be fully legal;)

Don't expect me up early....there's a wine tasting menu too!
Xx

Happy weekend Katie! :)

Afternoon all:)
Just back from a nice lunch out with DH - excellent steak and salad. Then he paddled a mile in canoe for WWF - i was enthusiastic watcher (didnt want to ruin my lunch lol).

DD is out all today as tonight is her big show at the royal albert hall!! There will be hundreds of kids from all over the country that do Theatretrain doing a show of singing and dancing. I am looking forward to it although rather concerned as she'll have been out all day practicing, will forget to eat, the show starts at 7pm and then we pick her up at 9.45pm afterwards and somehow have to get her home across london before/during meltdown. Oh she's only 7 and its a school night. Hey ho;)

Anyhow, i also need to report on my mega celebration meal last night. WARNING Food Porn Alert:D

So we were back at the expensive italian in covent garden for the tasting menu
Fabulous freshly made rolls with goats cheese spread
1 scallop cerviche
2 foie gras
3 seabass fillet
4 roast lamb
5 cheese (didnt like them so not for me)
6 chocolate souffle with sorbet (omg was that good - but soo rich!)

Washed down with a tasting menu of wine from every continent including port and sweet dessert wine:D
Please note that this restaurant is good for your tastebuds but not your wallet:eek:

Well it was worth every mouthful. Calculated that the whole thing was about 1600 calories and 60 carbs. So not THAT bad......;)
Better get back on the wagon fast - got til friday weigh in to get rid of any damage. Guggling water as we speak:D

Xx

Sounds amazing Katie! :)

Morning Katie :)

Afternoon all:D. Been a bit awol catching up the RL stuff, but feeling enough under control now to spend some time here;)

Sunday evening at the albert hall was fabulous (surprisingly!) and we could see DD dancing really well even though we were right at the back at the very top:D. Got her home and in bed by about 11pm and so far(fingers crossed!) we seem to have got away with it (i did warn her teacher though).

Yesterday was email catch up day - needed to find everything in my inbox and figure out the key priorities. I haven't done it all yet but do have long task list;). Also DH had to spend the time at hospitql having his eye pressure tested - from 8.30am to 5pm....and the outcome was they haven't a clue. Just means they have to do it all again:( Meant i got left holding the DD including rushing off for swimming after school and tea.

Food pretty good at the moment - hopefully have flushed all those naughty carbs from saturday out:) also been emptying the freezer - which badly needs a defrost. Really nice but starting to get to the illegal stuff - may need to take round to parents instead!

Monday food:
B bacon eggs half slice burgen
L salami and cheese wrap, slad, houmous and celery
S chorizo, pork crackling
D courgette bol, raspberries and cream

E dance class
W some - need more!
A nope

Oh yes - it was DHs birthday on sunday so i bought him...an icecream maker. Now just need to turn his atkins cooking skills to icecream- yummy:D

Xxx
