Hey to anyone reading!
I wont bore you with all the details of my weight issues, but basically I've tried every kind of 'diet' from weight watchers, to detoxing, to cambridge and slimming world.. Or even making my own up! Ive managed a few weeks at most on most diets and never got to my ultimate weight goal or body shape.
Its time for a change, I dont want to keep on going round this vicious cycle of binging then starving, its unhealthy and it doesnt work! My metabolism is messed up and a lose weight very slowly.
Ive decided to follow the lean and clean plan, I am not doing this as a 'diet' its a lifestyle change and hopefully a better relationship with food.
The idea of this is to eat organic, naturally sourced produce, eggs, meat, fish, veg and a little fruit. Carbs are minimal but sweet potato, quinoa etc replaces white carbs and potatoes. Once a week there is a cheat meal allowed, you can have any meal you like but you're asked to sit, concentrate and savour every mouthful! Something I rarely do! I wolf my food down and then feel unsatisfied, guilty and bloated.
I have a hol in 6 weeks to Cancun then a month after a hol to Ibiza! I am well aware I wont be at goal for either but I will be closer than I have been or would be!
I'll be posting daily with pics of my meals, how my journey is going and hoping to get some support! Xx
